Well, I had some time to finish this game. And let me tell you folks. IT ANGERS ME!!!!

I tried to get a decent ranking, and beat it within a good time limit. OMG! This time around, I was just horrible at it. And I thought I was doing everything right.

Here's the rundown.

Finish time: 6:01:24 (This is reeeeeeeeeaaallllyyyy bad for me.)

I have everything written down with all the guns I collected and how much ammo I had left in the,

Assault Rifle 48% in gun, with the extra clip at 50%
Bowgun loaded with 20 explosive rounds, regular arrows 235
Glock 17 (Chris's gun) full with 286 bullets
Grenade Launcher (I rarely used this thing, nor did I pick up much ammo) Grenade Rounds 26, Flame Rounds 14, Acid Rounds 20, BOW gas 6)
M-100P Semi-Automatic Pistols with 75% ammo left. (I love this things, but just never used it much.)
M93R Handgun/Custom Handgun (Claire's Gun, literally, the best handgun in the game.) 20, with 286.
Magnum (of course I used this!) Zero shots, Zero ammo. Since you only get two ammo drops really with this gun.
Shotgun 2 shots 23 spare ammo. Used this to deal with Alexia at the end, along with the magnum.
Sniper Rifle Zero shots

Also, I died a total of 4 times. Once against Nosferatu because he knocked Claire over the edge, I didn't give Chris a powerful gun when I made him face Alexia after control switched to Claire when the two siblings get seperated by that tentacle that goes through the wall. Chris had the Assault Rifle with 48% at that time, and it did nothing....Alexia got ahold of me and burned me. The third time, Steve Monster killed me, because I didn't bring addition herbs because I had two and thought it would be good enough. Fourth time was my fault, damn, Hunter got me after I thought I killed it.

I also found out, you can kill Nosferatu with a knife. No lie. I found it on youtube. It's a different cut scene if you do it with the knife instead of the sniper rifle.

So...in the end, I got a D ranking. I was bummed out. And I found out why.

In order to get the best rank possible, and A rank, and get the rocket launcher with unlimited ammo, you need to do this.

Goal 1: Complete the entire game in 4:29:59:99 or less. The credits and cutscenes are included in this time, so press SELECT to skip them. If your an expert or know your layouts and puzzles well, they say you can beat the game in 3:45:00:00

Goal 2: You cannot save or retry. THis means storing and leaving ink Ribbons and never touching a typewriter, and not dying once. They say in my guide you can save only ONCE. Just after the second Tyrant Fight (before Claire explores the Antartic Base). If you fail, you can restart or reload from that point and it doesn't affect the game.

Goal 3: USE HERBS ONLY!!!!! Any kind of herb, it doesn't matter. But if you use one F. Aid Spray, your rank instantly drops below an A rank. Which is a major kick in the butt. But I have noticed, you don't get many F. Aid Sprays, but tons of herbs. So it shouldn't be a problem really.

Goal 4: Return to Rodrigo with the Hemostatic Medicine, and give him your Lighter, and get the lock pick in return.

The guide also gives good tips.

1. Rescue Steve right when he gets trapped in the room where the heat turns on where he gets those Lugers. SAVE HIM!!! Unless your sick and like to watch him suffer.

2. Load up on grenades regular ones, (like the ones I never used....stupid me.) and unload on the Tyrant when he kicks down the gate and traps you between him and the fire. He'll go down quick if you hit him enough.

3. When you face the Tyrant on the plane, it says to have 30 explosive arrows and shoot all 30 at him, this will weaken him and he won't be able to stop the catapult.

4. Don't forget the fire extinguisher!!! I did this when I played the Dreamcast version many years ago. If you have the extinguisher, you'll be able to get the Magnum which makes the first fight against Alexia easy, plus it helps with dealing with Alexia in the end too.

5. Unlock the Duralumin Case Chris finds, and when you take control of Claire, right before the Steve monster fight, unlock the case, you'll get six magnum bullets, put those in the chest for Chris's fight against Alexia's final two forms.

6. Don't take any risks. Conserve ammo when needed. Find out how to do each puzzle before you attempt the game, write down the answers for the puzzles so you do not waste time.

7. DO NOT RUN FROM HUNTERS!!!! Without the handy dodge ability given to you in Resident Evil 3, and given that Hunters and Sweepers are more deadlier than before, and Sweepers can poison you. You won't get far, because of their speed. Stand your ground, Shotgun or Acid round the humanoid amphibians. It'll save you on herbs since you can't use F. Aid Sprays, if your going for Rank and Time.

8. As Chris, when you get the shotgun, and because he does a lot of backtracking, drop the Glock 18 and the handgun ammo off, and keep the Sub Machine guns, or the Shotgun as his prime weapons. You'll be running into a lot of Hunters as Chris when your on the Island, and a handgun just isn't gonna cut it. This free's up space, so you can deal with the puzzles and the items you need to pick up.

9. When fighting the adult Albinoid in the water, when you have to get the Eagle Plate as Chris, don't bother fighting it. It's a waste of time and ammo. Just stock up on herbs. Jump into the water, your gonna get shocked at least twice, and loose some health, but you can just heal yourself, get to the edge, probably get zapped one more time, and you'll jump out and you can leave without defeating the beast and wasting time and ammo.

10. Don't Bother With Zombies. When playing as Chris, you don't meat a lot of Zombies, at least ones that can disrupt your path. Avoid them, or at least clear one or 2 out of the major door areas. This saves time and Ammo. Save your ammo for when Bandersnatchers or Hunters are coming for you. Run from the Bandersnatchers, it's easy they are slow and only attack one way, but Hunters, your gonna have a hard time running from them. Most zombies chris encounters can be dodged or at least taken down with a grenade launcher.

Next time I play this, I'm really gonna try harder, and not conserve so much ammo. I'm gonna BLOW EVERYTHING OFF THE ISLAND!!!!

*puts sunglasses on* But for now...I'm gonna play the Battle Mode and try and beat it as Wesker, whom only has a knife. Ooooooh this is gonna be fun!!
